Hydrolyzed rhodophyceae is an extract from a little-known red algae, Acrochaetium moniliforme, which lives in contact with other algae. In association with other microorganisms, it helps to protect its host against outside aggressions. It offers protection for skin damaged by microparticles which show an excess of sebum. A real regulator for oily skin, this purifying active ingredient even decreases the breakdown of sebum. It also decreases ozonized squalene in vivo.
An innovative active ingredient with the first in vitro results from a model on sebocytes exposed to urban dust, this active ingredient has proven its effectiveness in regulating lipids on polluted cells.
